Here are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the fishing charters and boat excursions offered by Madore Fall River Fishing:

All trips depart from Fall River, Massachusetts. Specific dock address and parking details will be provided in your confirmation email after booking. We can do pickups from other ports upon requests but must be setup with us before hand.

Nope! All guests are covered under our commercial charter fishing license, so no individual license is required.

We recommend bringing:

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Food, snacks, and drinks (cans are preferred for beverages)
  • A small cooler to take your catch home
  • Motion sickness prevention If you're prone to seasickness, we recommend taking Bonine or any over-the-counter motion sickness medication. Take one pill the night before your trip, and another the morning of the charter for best results.
  • We provide all fishing gear, bait, ice, and safety equipment.

Yes! As long as the fish meat Massachusetts state regulations, you are welcome to keep your catch. We help clean and bag them for you.

Your safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are unsafe, We notify you in advance and either reschedule your trip or offer a full refund.

Yes, our vessel is equipped with a marine restroom for your comfort during longer trips.

All trips are limited to 6 passengers maximum, per U.S. Coast Guard regulations.

Cancellations will warrant a 10% within 7 days of the trip and deposit is lost within 3 days of the trip. If rescheduling is required due to a customer's reason please do so before 3 days prior. Only 1 rescheduling is at no cost with 3 days notice.

Absolutely! Fishing charters can be a great family experience. We welcome children ages 5 and up with adult supervision.

No experience? No problem! Our characters are beginner-friendly, and our captain and crew are happy to show you the ropes. We guide you through everything from casting and reeling to handling your catch so you can enjoy the experience regardless of skill level.

Gratuity is always appreciated! 20% tip is standard for charter fishing trips if you had a great experience.

Yes! Gift cards are available and make great gifts.
